Coaches´ Quotes

Michal Koza (CZR): "The start of the game was not bad at all. In the first period, we had the advantage, even though the guys did not quite execute the way they should have. That's when the breakthrough came. Suddenly, we shut down, we backed off from what we wanted to do, and that decided the game. It's a very hard lesson for us at the beginning."

Dave Weloy (CAN): "Both teams played very well - I think it was an even game. We had a good power play, and even though the other team was an equal opponent, we had more discipline. I am very proud of our team - it is the first time we've played this lineup, so I believe we will get stronger and stronger as the week goes on."
