Coaches´ Quotes

Tobias Strahm (SUI): „It was a tough match, and the Czechs were clearly the better team. They’re strong on the ball and quick. We did fight back towards the end, but our offensive play wasn’t at its best. We were prepared, but couldn’t translate that into today’s game — and that was the deciding factor."

Michal Koza (CZE): „We entered the match actively and had a lot of takeaways from yesterday’s game, especially regarding our defense, where we knew we could improve. Today, things were clicking from the very start, and we stepped into the championship on the right foot. For a long time, it was a two-goal game and anything could have happened. The Swiss were under pressure, but we managed to completely turn the game in our favor in the third period."
