Two years after the successful Junior World Championship in Liberec, the global stage of youth ball hockey is once again returning to the Czech Republic. From Wednesday, June 25, to Sunday, June 29, 2025, the city of Hradec Králové—one of the traditional hubs of Czech ball hockey—will play host to this prestigious event. The 2025 Junior Ball Hockey World Championship is organized under the auspices of the International Street & Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF). The main organizing body, the Czech-Moravian Ball Hockey Association (ČMSHb), together with its dedicated organizing committee, is ensuring the smooth execution of the tournament in every aspect—from sports management to logistical support for players, teams, and fans.

Fans in Eastern Bohemia can look forward to action in two of the four regular junior categories, where the Czech national teams will be defending their impressive achievements. By the end of June, the ČPP Arena in Hradec Králové will witness thrilling battles featuring players in the U16 and U23 age groups—both of which will see Czech teams defending their gold medals from the 2023 Junior World Championship. The tournament will feature elite teams from both Europe and overseas, with nations such as Canada, the USA, Slovakia, Switzerland, Great Britain, Hungary or team of United Nations competing against the Czech squads.

This championship represents the pinnacle of international youth ball hockey, offering young athletes the chance to test their skills against the best players from around the world. Beyond its competitive nature, the tournament serves as a crucial platform for fostering the growth of youth ball hockey globally.

The championship is also supported by another distinguished patronFilip Hronek, the best Czech defenseman in the NHL, an NHL All-Star Team member, and bronze medalist from the 2019 IIHF World Championship. Currently a key player for the Vancouver Canucks, Hronek hails from Hradec Králové, making his involvement in the event even more special.

Another significant ambassador is Adam Vlkanova, a well-known footballer from Hradec Králové who has played for Viktoria Plzeň and Polish club Ruch Chorzów, even earning a call-up to the Czech national football team.
